Abstract:Objective:To analyze the relationship between the levels of preoperative serum GINS complex 4(GINS4)and programmed death receptor 1(PD-1)in patients with gastric cancer and the clinicopathological characteristics and prognosis.Method:A total of 250 patients with gastric cancer who were treated in the Affiliated Hospital of Putian University from September 1,2020 to March 31,2023 were selected as the observation group. They were followed up for two years and divided into the death group and the survival group according to their survival status.100 healthy individuals who underwent health examinations in the Affiliated Hospital of Putian University during the same period were selected as the control group. All researchers underwent the determination of GINS4 and PD-1 levels. The differences in GINS4 and PD-1 levels between the two groups were compared. The levels of GINS4 and PD-1 and the clinicopathological characteristics were analyzed, and the factors influencing the prognosis of gastric cancer were analyzed through Cox regression.Result:The levels of GINS4 messenger ribonucleic acid(mRNA)and PD-1 in the observation group were both higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).There were statistically significant differences in TNM stage, presence or absence of lymph node metastasis,GINS4 mRNA,and PD-1 levels between the death group and the survival group(P<0.05).The independent risk factors leading to the patient's death were GINS4 mRNA and PD-1 levels. Conclusion:The levels of serum GINS4 and PD-1 in patients with gastric cancer increase significantly.Lymph node metastasis,TNM stage, degree of tissue differentiation and prognosis can all lead to fluctuations in the levels of serum GINS4 and PD-1.
