Abstract:Objective:To explore the clinical application value of modified drainage in the treatment of anastomotic fistula after laparoscopic middle and low rectal cancer surgery.Method:A retrospective analysis was conducted on the data of 100 patients treated with peritoneal indwelling presacral drainage tubes in the Gastrointestinal Surgery Department of Yongzhou Central Hospital from December 2019 to December 2021 as the control group.Prospectively, the data of 100 patients treated with modified drainage indwelling presacral drainage tubes from December 2021 to December 2023 were collected as the experimental group. The age,BMI,length of hospital stay, operation time, blood loss, incidence of anastomotic fistula and incidence of reoperation after surgery of the two groups were analyzed.Result:There was no statistically significant difference in age,BMI,operation time, incidence of anastomotic fistula, and blood loss between the two groups(P>0.05).The comparison of hospital stay and the incidence of reoperation after surgery between the two groups showed statistically significant differences(P<0.05).Conclusion:Modified drainage,as an intervention measure with simple operation and high safety, provides a new direction for the treatment of anastomotic fistula after laparoscopic middle and low rectal cancer surgery.
