Abstract:Objective:To investigate the applicability and clinical value of the International Classification of Functioning,Disability and Health Rehabilitation Package(ICF-RS)in functional assessment of patients with frozen shoulder.Method:A total of 80 patients with frozen shoulder admitted to Nanxiong Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital from January 2024 to January 2025 were enrolled.Using convenience sampling, they were divided into a study group(n=40)and a control group(n=40).The ICF-RS quantitative scale and the UCLA Shoulder Score were employed to analyze both cross-sectional and longitudinal differences between the two groups before and after treatment.Result:Before treatment, there was no statistically significant difference in ICF-RS scores across all dimensions between the two groups(P>0.05).After treatment,ICF-RS scores across all dimensions were lower than pre-treatment levels, and the study group was lower than the control group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).Before treatment, there was no statistically significant difference between the two groups in UCLA scores across all dimensions(P>0.05).After treatment,UCLA scores across all dimensions were lower than pre-treatment levels, and the study group was lower than the control group, with statistically significant difference(P<0.05).The total ICF-RS score showed a strong negative correlation with the total UCLA score(r=-0.82).The physical functioning dimension of ICF-RS demonstrated strong positive correlations with the pain and active forward bending range of motion dimensions of UCLA(r=0.721~0.834).The ICF-RS participation dimension showed a moderate positive correlation with the UCLA satisfaction dimension(r=0.658).Conclusion:The ICF-RS effectively evaluates the functional status and treatment outcomes of patients with frozen shoulder, demonstrating good correlation with traditional scales.
