Abstract:Objective:To investigate the efficacy of transurethral resection of bladder cancer(TURBT)in patients with invasive bladder urothelial carcinoma.Method:A retrospective analysis was conducted on 80 patients with invasive bladder urothelial carcinoma admitted to the Jiangyin People's Hospital from January 2022 to January 2023 as the research subjects.According to the different treatment methods, they were divided into two groups. The control group received traditional open partial cystectomy treatment, and the observation group received TURBT treatment.Surgery-related indexes, inflammatory indexes, tumor markers and complication rates were compared in the two groups.Result:The operation time, intraoperative blood loss, bladder irrigation time and postoperative hospital stay in the study group were all shorter than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The postoperative tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)in the study group was lower than that in the control group, and the vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF)in the study group was higher than that in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The levels of carcinoembryonic antigen(CEA),carbohydrate antigen 125(CA125)and carbohydrate antigen 19-9(CA19-9)in the study group after surgery were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of complications in the study group was lower than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:TURBT therapy is effective in patients with invasive bladder urothelial carcinoma, and it can also reduce the incidence of complications.
