Abstract:Objective:To investigate the effect of limited open reduction and percutaneous fixation with Kirschner wire in the children with supracondylar fracture of humerus.Method:80 children with supracondylar fracture of humerus admitted to the Fuzhou First General Hospital from January 2021 to October 2024 were divided into control group(n=40)and observation group(n=40)by the random number table method. The control group were treated with closed reduction and fixation with Kirschner wire, the observation group were treated with limited open reduction and percutaneous fixation with Kirschner wire. The total excellent and good rates,Mayo elbow joint function score, operation time, hospitalization time, complications rates, range of motion(extension, flexion, forearm pronation and supination)and imaging parameters(Baumann angle, carrying angle and front rake angle)at different times after the surgery of two groups were compared.Result:The total excellent and good rate and Mayo elbow function score of the observation group were significantly higher than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).There were no statistically significant difference in the operation time and hospital stay between the two groups(P>0.05).The total complications rate of observation group was significantly lower than that of control group, the range of motion and carrying angle at 3 months and 6 months after the surgery were significantly higher than those of control group, the front rake angle was significantly lower than that of control group, the Baumann angle at 3 months and 6 months after the surgery were significantly lower than those of control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).There were no statistically significant differences in the Baumann angles of the observation group at 3 months and 6 months after the operation compared with those at 1 day after the operation(P>0.05).Conclusion:Limited open reduction Kirschner's needle percutaneous internal fixation has a good therapeutic effect in children with supracondylar fractures of the humerus, and the postoperative stability is also good. Therefore,it has a high application value in children with supracondylar fractures of the humeru.
