Clinical Observation of Multichannel Minimally Invasive Percutaneous Nephrolithotomy in Patients with Complex Renal Calculi
GUO Jinlong
Abstract:Objective:To evaluate the effects of multi-channel minimally invasive percutaneous nephrolithotomy(MPCNL)on single-session stone clearance rates, pain stress indicators, and complications in patients with complex renal calculi(CRC).Method:A total of 82 patients diagnosed with colorectal cancer(CRC)at Macheng People's Hospital between August 2019 and August 2024 were enrolled and divided into group B and group A using simple randomization, with 41 patients in each group.Group A underwent single-channel MPCNL treatment, while group B underwent multi-channel MPCNL treatment.A follow-up abdominal plain radiograph(KUB)was performed 5 d postoperatively to calculate the one-time stone clearance rate.Visual Analogue Scale(VAS)scores were used to assess pain levels at 6,12,24,and 72 h postoperatively in both groups. The incidence of postoperative complications was recorded for both groups.Result:5 d after surgery, the one-time stone clearance rate in group B was higher than that in group A,with a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).Pain scores at all postoperative time points were lower in group B than in group A,with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).The postoperative recovery in group B was significantly better than that in group A,with a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).Compared with group A,group B had a lower incidence of complications, with a statistically significant difference(P<0.05).Conclusion:Multi-channel MPCNL demonstrates significant advantages in treating CRC,substantially improving the one-time stone clearance rate, effectively alleviating postoperative pain, enhancing patients'quality of life, and reducing the risk of postoperative infection and complication rates.
