Abstract:Objective:To explore the clinical effect of calcitriol combined with levothyroxine sodium in the treatment of Hashimoto's thyroiditis(HT)with hypothyroidism.Method:A total of 73 patients with HT combined with hypothyroidism who received treatment in the Longyan People's Hospital of Fujian from February 2023 to May 2024 were selected as the research subjects.Using the principle of random number table allocation, the subjects were divided into the experimental group(37 cases)and the control group(36 cases). The control group received treatment with levothyroxine sodium, while the experimental group received treatment with calcitriol in addition to the control group. The thyroid function related indicators[thyroid stimulating hormone(TSH),free triiodothyronine(FT3),free tetraiodothyronine(FT4)],thyroid autoantibodies levels[thyroid peroxidase antibody(TPO-Ab),thyroglobulin antibody(TG-Ab)],serum 25 hydroxyvitamin[25(OH)D,25(OH)D2,25(OH)D3]before and after treatment were compared between the two groups, and the occurrence of adverse reactions during the treatment period in the two groups was statistically analyzed.Result:After treatment, the levels of TSH,TPO-Ab,and TG-Ab in both groups were lower than those before treatment, while the levels of FT3,FT4,25(OH)D2,and 25(OH)D3 were higher than those before treatment. In addition, the levels TSH,TPO-Ab,and TG-Ab in the experimental group were lower than those in the control group, while the levels of FT3,FT4,25(OH)D2,and 25(OH)D3 were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).During the treatment, there were no statistical differences in the incidence rates of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:The combination of calcitriol and levothyroxine sodium can significantly improve thyroid function indicators, reduce thyroid autoantibodies, and increase 25(OH)D level in patients with HT combined with hypothyroidism, with good safety.
