Abstract:Objective:To analyze the correlation between patients with human papillomavirus(HPV)infection and vaginal microecological imbalance, immune dysfunction and inflammatory response.Method:A total of 120 patients who received both HPV infection and vaginal microecological tests at the Shunde Women's and Children's Hospital of Guangdong Medical University from December 2023 to February 2025 were selected for the study. These patients were divided into the high-risk HPV positive group(n=50)and the high-risk HPV negative group(n=70)based on the HPV test results. The vaginal microecological test results of the two groups were compared, and the correlation with HPV infection-induced vaginal microecological imbalance, immune dysfunction, and inflammatory response were analyzed.Result:The levels of bacterial density and diversity in the high-risk HPV positive group were lower than those in the high-risk HPV negative group. The positive rates of vulvovaginal candidiasis, trichomonal vaginitis, bacterial vaginosis, and white blood cell count were higher in the high-risk HPV positive group than those in the high-risk HPV negative group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The combined prediction efficacy of abnormal bacterial density, abnormal diversity, positive vulvovaginal candidiasis, positive trichomonal vaginitis, positive bacterial vaginosis, and white blood cell count for high-risk HPV positivity were higher than those of a single indicator, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Correlation analysis showed that abnormal bacterial density, abnormal diversity, positive vulvovaginal candidiasis, positive trichomonal vaginitis, positive bacterial vaginosis, and white blood cell count were positively correlated with high-risk HPV positivity, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Vaginal microecological imbalance, immune dysfunction, and inflammatory response are correlated with HPV infection, and can predict high-risk HPV positivity.
