Abstract:Objective:To analyze the evaluation value of two-dimensional ultrasound and two-dimensional shear wave elastography in the staging of lower extremity deep vein thrombosis(DVT)formation.Method:120 patients with suspected lower limb DVT in Yuhuan People's Hospital from April 2023 to December 2024 underwent comprehensive venous imaging, including standard ultrasound and shear wave elastography examination.Participants were categorized into thrombosis-positive group and thrombosis-negative group.Diagnostic performance was evaluated for three approaches:B-mode ultrasound alone, hear wave elastography alone and their combined application.Result:Among 120 patients with suspected DVT,78 cases were diagnosed with DVT(thrombosis group),and 42 cases were diagnosed with non-DVT(non-thrombosis group). The results of ROC analysis showed that there were statistically significant differences in the area under the receiver operating characteristic curve(ROC curve),sensitivity and specificity of two-dimensional ultrasound, shear wave elastography, and the combination of shear wave elastography and two-dimensional ultrasound in the diagnosis of DVT(P<0.05).According to the formation stage of DVT in patients, they were divided into the acute stage group(n=37),the subacute stage group(n=25),and the chronic stage group(n=16).The average values of ultrasound elastography scores and Young's modulus values in the acute stage group were lower than those in the subacute stage group and the chronic stage group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:The synergistic use of B-mode ultrasound and shear wave elastography enhances diagnostic accuracy for DVT.
