Abstract:Objective:To investigate the effect of stent combined with intermediate catheter thrombectomy in the treatment of acute basilar artery occlusion cerebral infarction.Method:Retrospective collection of 82 patients with acute basilar artery occlusion cerebral infarction in Second Affiliated Hospital of Xiamen Medical College were divided into a control group and an observation group from July 2019 to July 2024,with 41 cases in each group. The control group received stent thrombectomy, while the observation group received additional treatment with an intermediate catheter thrombectomy based on the control group. The neurological function, serum inflammatory cytokines, cerebral hemodynamics and the incidence of complications were compared between the two groups.Result:After operation, the incidence of stroke scale(NIHSS),von Willebrand factor(vWF),central nervous system-specific protein(Sl00β),neuron-specific enolase(NSE)and complications in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The blood flow velocities of endothelin(ET),nitric oxide(NO),basilar artery(BA)and vertebral artery(VA)in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:The use of stents combined with intermediate catheters for thrombectomy in patients with acute basilar artery occlusion can improve neurological function and serum inflammatory cytokines, increase blood supply to the brain, and reduce the incidence of complications.
