Abstract:Objective:To examine the short-and long-term effectiveness of using gefitinib along with chemotherapy in treatment of patients with advanced non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC).Method:86 NSCLC patients admitted to the hospital from Jul.2020 to Apr.2022 were randomly assigned to control group(receiving anticoagulant therapy)and observation group(receiving gefitinib plus anticoagulant therapy).Comparative analysis were conducted between the two groups across four therapeutic outcome dimensions:short-term efficacy,long-term survival status, serum tumor marker level, and the incidence of toxic and adverse reactions.Result:In the short-term efficacy, there was no statistically significant difference in therapeutic effect between the two groups(P>0.05).Within 1 year after medication administration, the survival rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group. At 6 months after medication administration, the observation group achieved higher scores than the control group in terms of physical function, role function, and emotional function. In contrast, the observation group had lower levels of serum tumor markers and a lower incidence of adverse drug reactions compared with the control group. All the above differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:The combination of gefitinib and anticoagulant therapy for NSCLC patients can achieve good short-term treatment outcomes, positively influence the reduction of serum tumor marker levels, improve patients'long-term survival rate and ensure treatment safety.
