Abstract:Objective:To investigate the diagnostic value of combined transvaginal three-dimensional ultrasound(3D-TVS)and shear wave elastography(SWE)in distinguishing benign from malignant ovarian tumors.Method:A total of 80 patients with ovarian tumors diagnosed by surgical pathology at Dongguan Ren Kang Hospital between January 2024 and January 2025 were selected.Based on pathological findings, they were divided into a benign group(n=40)and a malignant group(n=40).Using the Philips EPIQ 7C ultrasound system for 3D transvaginal ultrasound(TVS)and shear wave elastography(SWE)examinations, the tumor's morphological characteristics(cystic-solid ratio, intraluminal papillary structures, blood flow grading)and elasticity parameters(Emean,Emax,Emin)were assessed. The diagnostic efficacy of single versus combined methods was compared.Result:The area under curve of the combined model was significantly higher than that of either 3D-TVS or SWE alone. The malignant group exhibited higher Emean,cystic-solid ratio, and proportion of grade 2-3 flow compared to the benign group. The combined model demonstrated the highest sensitivity and specificity, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).Conclusion:The combination of 3D-TVS and SWE significantly improves the accuracy of distinguishing benign from malignant ovarian tumors, with its multimodal parameter integration strategy providing a reliable basis for noninvasive clinical diagnosis.
