Effect of B-Ultrasound Guidance Combined with Bone-Setting Manual Reduction Combined with 6-Needle Double-Plane Fixation in the Treatment of Distal Radius Fractures

Abstract：Objective:To observe the efficacy and safety of B-ultrasound-guided combined with traditional Chinese medicine manual reduction and 6-needle double-plane fixation in the treatment of distal radius fractures.Method:From January 2024 to June 2024,64 patients admitted to Dianjiang Hospital Affiliated to Chongqing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine were selected and randomly divided into the experimental group and the control group,with 32 cases in each group.The experimental group was treated with B-ultrasound guidance combined with traditional Chinese orthopedic manipulation for closed reduction of the distal radius fracture,followed by fixation with the 6-needle double-plane method of Kehner's needle.The control group was treated with conventional manual reduction and external fixation with plaster.The success rate of the first reduction,the clinical healing time of fractures,the Cooney score of the wrist joint,the ROM of the wrist joint and the occurrence of complications after reduction were compared between the two groups of patients.Result:The success rate of the first reduction,the Cooney score of the wrist joint,and the ROM of the wrist joint in the experimental group were all better than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The clinical healing time of fractures in the two groups was close,and there was no significant difference in the occurrence of complications,and the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).Conclusion:In the clinical treatment of distal radius fractures,B-ultrasound-guided combined with traditional Chinese medicine manual closed reduction and 6-needle biplane external fixation for distal radius fractures have advantages such as high success rate of the first reduction and early improvement of wrist joint function.
