Abstract:Objective:To analyze the surgical outcomes, satisfaction, and safety of ureteroscopic holmium laser lithotripsy(UHLL)and flexible ureteroscopic holmium laser lithotripsy(FURL)in the treatment of complex upper ureteral calculi(CUUC).Method:A total of 200 patients with CUUC admitted to Hezhou Hospital Traditional Chinese Medicine from June 2023 to December 2024 were selected as the study objects and divided into two groups based on different surgical methods, with 100 cases in each group. The control group received UHLL,while the observation group received FURL.The surgical outcomes, serum high-sensitivity C-reactive protein(hs-CRP),tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α),interleukin-6(IL-6),surgical satisfaction, and safety were analyzed and compared between the two groups. Results:The operation time, total complication rate of the observation group were lower than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(t=27.626,26.730,14.573,18.839,33.641,7.387,P<0.05).Three days after the operation, the levels of hs-CRP,TNF-α,and IL-6 in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the satisfaction rate was higher than that in the control group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).Conclusion:Compared with UHLL,FURL has better surgical outcomes, higher patient satisfaction, and a lower complication rate in the treatment of CUUC patients.
