Abstract:Objective:To explore the effect of oxytocin combined with ergometrine in the treatment of postpartum hemorrhage and its influence on inflammatory factors in patients.Method:78 cases of postpartum hemorrhage caused by uterine atony were all from Laibin People's Hospital from September 2023 to September 2024.They were divided into a control group(treated with oxytocin)and a study group(treated with oxytocin combined with ergometrine)according to different treatment methods, with 39 cases in each group. The therapeutic effects of two groups were compared.Result:Compared with the control group, the bleeding volume at 2 and 24 hours in the study group was significantly less, and the hemostasis time was significantly shorter, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).After treatment, all coagulation function indicators and inflammation indicators in the study group were better than those in the control group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).After treatment, the incidence of adverse reactions was significantly lower than that of the control group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).Conclusion:The combination of oxytocin and ergometrine produces a synergistic effect through complementary mechanisms, providing stronger and more lasting uterine contractility for postpartum hemorrhage caused by uterine atony. The combined treatment of the two has significant hemostatic effects, can improve patients'coagulation function and inflammatory response, and has fewer adverse reactions and better safety.
