Abstract:Objective:To compare the efficacy of high-dose bimodal therapy versus bismuth-based quadruple therapy in treating Helicobacter pylori(H.pylori)infection.Method:200 H.pylori patients admitted to Jieyang People's Hospital from July 2022 to June 2024 were selected as the study objects and randomly assigned to a control group(bismuth-based quadruple therapy)and a trial group(high-dose bimodal therapy). Both groups had equal sample sizes. The trial group received high-dose bimodal therapy, while the control group received bismuth-based quadruple therapy.Treatment outcomes were evaluated through H.pylori eradication rates, medication adherence, and adverse reaction incidence. Results:The trial group demonstrated significantly higher eradication rates than the control group(P>0.05).Adherence metrics showed lower rates of poor compliance in the trial group compared to the control group, while moderate and good compliance scores were significantly higher(P<0.05).Adverse reaction rates were also significantly lower in the trial group. Conclusion:Both bismuth-based quadruple therapy and high-dose bimodal therapy demonstrated effective H.pylori treatment.Although the high-dose bimodal therapy achieved slightly higher eradication rates,it showed superior compliance improvement and reduced adverse reaction incidence compared to the bismuth-based quadruple therapy.
