Clinical Efficacy and Impact on CRP Levels of Omeprazole Enteric Coated Capsules Combined with Bismuth Potassium Citrate Capsules in the Treatment of Gastric Ulcers

Abstract：Objective:To analyze the value of using omeprazole enteric coated capsules and bismuth potassium citrate capsules in the treatment of gastric ulcers.Method:This study included 116 patients with gastric ulcers admitted to Beijing Jiangong Hospital from January 2023 to June 2024 as the observation subjects.They were divided into two groups using a random number table method,with 58 patients in each group.The control group was treated with omeprazole enteric coated capsules,while the observation group was treated with bismuth potassium citrate capsules on the basis of the control group.The clinical efficacy,incidence of adverse reactions,gastric mucosal morphology score,clinical indicators,and inflammation indicators between two groups were compared.Result:The total clinical effective rate of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The observation group showed a decrease in mucosal thickness score,a decrease in glandular density score,a significant improvement in inflammatory cell infiltration degree,and an increase in epidermal growth factor and vascular endothelial growth factor levels after treatment,with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).The safety assessment showed that there was no statistically significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups of drugs(P>0.05).Inflammatory index testing showed that after treatment,the concentration of C-reactive protein and tumor necrosis factor alpha in the observation group decreased compared to the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Omeprazole enteric coated capsules and bismuth potassium citrate capsules can effectively promote gastric mucosal tissue repair,reduce inflammatory response levels,and do not increase treatment risks.While reducing inflammatory response,it also improves treatment effectiveness and safety.
