Abstract:Objective:To investigate and compare the short-term efficacy of cartilage cartilage membrane complex and temporalis fascia in type Ⅰ tympanoplasty.Method:Selecting 100 patients who underwent type Ⅰ tympanoplasty at Qianxi People's Hospital from January 2024 to December 2024 as the study subjects, they were randomly divided into a control group(50 cases)and an observation group(50 cases). The control group used temporal fascia as the graft material, while the observation group used cartilage cartilage membrane composite as the graft material. The pure tone hearing threshold, average air bone conduction difference, total effective rate, and tympanic membrane healing rate before and after treatment were compared between the two groups.Result:After treatment, the pure tone hearing threshold of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the average air bone conduction difference was lower than that of the control group. The total effective rate of treatment and the tympanic membrane healing rate were higher than those of the control group and,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:In type Ⅰ tympanoplasty, the application effect of cartilage cartilage membrane composite is superior to that of temporalis fascia. This composite not only improves the surgical treatment effect of patients, but also enhances their tympanic membrane healing rate.
