Abstract:Objective:To investigate the efficacy of combining Danshen injection with edaravone in treating patients with acute ischemic stroke(AIS).Method:A total of 102 patients with AIS admitted to Taizhou Second People's Hospital Affiliated to Yangzhou University were assigned into a control group(51 cases, treated with edaravone)and an experimental group(51 cases, treated with Danshen injection plus edaravone)by randomly envelop method, and the selection time was from July 2022 to July 2024.After 2 weeks of treatment, the two groups were compared in terms of therapeutic outcomes, hemorheology(red blood cell aggregation index, whole blood viscosity, red blood cell hematocrit),neurological function[glial fibrillary acidic protein(GFAP),neuron-specific enolase(NSE)],and inflammatory markers levels[high-sensitivity C-reactive protein(hs-CRP),tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)].Result:The experimental group exhibited a higher total effective rate of treatment than the control group, with statistically significant difference(P<0.05).After 2 weeks of treatment, the hemorheology, neurological function and inflammatory markers in the experimental group were lower in comparison with the control group, with statistically significant difference(P<0.05).Conclusion:The combination therapy with Danshen injection and edaravone helps optimize patients'blood circulation, accelerate neurological function repair, alleviate inflammation, and provide strong support for the rehabilitation of AIS patients.
