Abstract:Objective:To observe the effects of Liver-Calming and Wind-Extinguishing Decoction, based on the theory of"liver wind",on patients with acute cerebral infarction.Method:A total of 80 patients with acute cerebral infarction admitted to Dongtai Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital from August 2023 to August 2024 were enrolled in this study. They were randomly assigned to either the conventional treatment group or the intervention group, with 40 patients in each group. The conventional treatment group received standard Western medical therapy, while the intervention group received the conventional treatment plus Zhengan Xifeng Decoction. The changes in capillary functional density(FCD),D-dimer(D-D),fibrinogen(FIB),neurological deficit score(NIHSS),and Traditional Chinese Medicine syndrome scores before and after treatment were compared between the two groups.Result:After 28 days of treatment, the intervention group exhibited significantly higher FCD and significantly lower D-D and FIB levels compared to the conventional group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).The intervention group also demonstrated significantly lower NIHSS scores and TCM syndrome scores than the conventional group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).No serious adverse reactions were observed in either group. Conclusion:Zhengan Xifeng Decoction effectively improves microcirculation and coagulation function in patients with acute cerebral infarction, alleviates neurological deficits, and demonstrates good safety.
