Abstract:Objective:To explore the value of blood lipids, serum uric acid, and serum apolipoproteins in evaluating treatment efficacy for patients with hyperlipidemia complicated by hyperuricemia.Method:A total of 104 patients with hyperlipidemia and hyperuricemia who received treatment at Hunter Rehabilitation Medical Center from July 2023 to June 2024 were enrolled in this study.Based on different treatment regimens, they were equally divided into two groups, each comprising 52 patients. The control group received conventional lipid-lowering and uric acid-lowering therapy, while the observation group received combined therapy with pitavastatin calcium and allopurinol in addition to the control group's regimen. The changes in lipid profiles[total cholesterol(TC),triglycerides(TG),high-density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C),low-density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C)],serum uric acid(UA)levels, and serum apolipoproteins[apolipoprotein A1(ApoA1),apolipoprotein B(ApoB)]were compared between the two groups before and after treatment.Result:After treatment, the observation group exhibited significantly lower levels of TC,TG,LDL-C,UA,and ApoB compared to the control group, while HDL-C and ApoA1 levels were higher than the control group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).The overall response rate in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).Conclusion:Combination therapy demonstrates greater efficacy in improving dyslipidemic disorders in patients with hyperlipidemia and hyperuricemia, reducing serum uric acid levels, and regulating serum apolipoprotein levels.
