Abstract:Objective:A short-term follow-up study of methylprednisolone combined with gorserelin in the treatment patients with EMs accompanied by recurrent early spontaneous abortion.Method:A total of 87 patients with endometrial polyps(EMs)and recurrent early spontaneous abortion admitted to Yichang Fifth People's Hospital between August 2021 and August 2023 were selected as study subjects. They were randomly assigned using a computer-generated odd-even number method to form a control group(n=44)and an experimental group(n=43).Both groups underwent laparoscopic surgery. The control group received goserelin postoperatively, while the experimental group additionally received methylprednisolone tablets.Efficacy, inflammatory cytokine levels, abdominal pain intensity, sex hormone levels,short-term follow-up outcomes, and adverse reaction incidence were compared between the two groups.Result:The total effective rate of the experimental group was higher than that of the control group. After 12 weeks of medication, the levels of various inflammatory factors, sex hormones and abdominal pain scores in both groups were lower than those before medication, and those in the experimental group were lower than those in the control group. The recurrence rate of the experimental group 6 months after the operation was lower than that of the control group. The above differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The difference in the incidence of adverse reactions was not statistically significant between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:Combination therapy with glucocorticoids and goserelin demonstrates high feasibility for treating endometrial hyperplasia with recurrent early spontaneous abortion, improving short-term follow-up outcomes in patients.
