Clinical Efficacy of Gusongbao Granules Combined with Zoledronic Acid in the Treatment of early to Mid-Stage Osteonecrosis of the Femoral Head

Abstract：Objective:To explore the clinical effect of Gusongbao Granules combined with zoledronic acid in the treatment of early and mid-stage osteonecrosis of the femoral head(ONFH).Method:A total of 92 patients with ONFH admitted to the Department of Orthopedics of Meizhou Tieluqiao Hospital from January 2023 to December 2024 were randomly divided into a control group and an observation group,with 46 cases in each group.The control group was treated with zoledronic acid,while the observation group was treated with Gusongbao Granules in combination.The treatment effects of the two groups were compared.Result:After treatment,the observation group exhibited higher total treatment efficacy,Harris scores,bone metabolic marker levels,and SF-36 scores,while VAS scores and hemorheology index levels were lower compared to the control group.The differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:The treatment of early and mid-stage ONFH patients with Gusongbao Granules combined with zoledronic acid effectively improved the therapeutic effect and hip joint function level of the patients,reduced the degree of pain,improved bone metabolism indicators and blood flow rheology indicators,and enhanced the quality of life.
