Abstract:Objective:To explore and analyze the clinical effect of wrist-ankle acupuncture therapy combined with ultrasound-guided nerve block on postoperative pain relief and functional recovery after total hip arthroplasty.Method:110 patients with femoral neck fractures admitted to Jiangyan Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital in Taizhou City from January 2022 to May 2023 were randomly divided into an observation group(n=55,wrist-ankle acupuncture combined with ultrasound guided nerve block)and a control group(n=55,ultrasound guided nerve block). The visual analog scale VAS and Harris scores of two groups 1 day,3 days,7 days, and 1 month after surgery were compared. The usage of celecoxib capsules and tramadol hydrochloride injection within 14 days after surgery,as well as the incidence of deep venous thrombosis in the lower limbs were simultaneously recorded.Result:The VAS scores of the two groups at rest and walking on the ground showed a decreasing trend with time. The VAS scores of the observation group 3 days,7 days, and 1 month after surgery were lower than those of the control group, and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).The Harris scores of the control group patients 3 days,7 days, and 1 month after surgery were higher than those of the control group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).The use of celecoxib capsules and tramadol hydrochloride injection in the control group was less than that in the observation group within 14 days after surgery, with statistically significant difference(P<0.05).Both groups of patients did not experience thromboembolism in the popliteal vein and posterior tibial vein of their lower limbs after surgery. Conclusion:The combination of wrist ankle needle and ultrasound guided nerve block can effectively reduce postoperative pain and facilitate the recovery of hip joint function after total hip arthroplasty;simultaneously reduce the use of postoperative painkillers.
