Abstract:Objective:To evaluate the impact of sivelestat sodium combined with enoxaparin versus monotherapy on clinical outcomes in patients with acute respiratory distress syndrome(ARDS).Method:This retrospective cohort study enrolled 60 ARDS patients admitted to Xiamen Fifth Hospital from January 2021 to January 2024.Based on treatment regimens, patients were divided into two groups(n=30 each). The control group received Sivelestat Sodium treatment, while the combination group received additional Enoxaparin on the basis of the control group.Recovery progress, disease improvement, blood gas analysis indicators, and serum inflammatory cytokine levels were statistically compared between groups.Result:After treatment, the combination group exhibited shorter mechanical ventilation time and ICU stay compared to the control group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).The combination group also showed significantly lower Acute Physiology and Chronic Health Evaluation Ⅱ(APACHE Ⅱ)scores,Sequential Organ Failure Assessment(SOFA)scores, and levels of interleukin-1β(IL-1β),interleukin-6(IL-6),and tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α).Conversely,arterial oxygen saturation(SaO2),partial pressure of arterial oxygen(PaO2),and the PaO2/FiO2 ratio all registered significantly higher levels in the combination group(P<0.05).Conclusion:The combination of Sivelestat Sodium and Enoxaparin in ARDS patients effectively improves their physical condition, accelerates recovery, enhances blood gas parameters, and alleviates inflammatory responses.
