Effect of Omeprazole Combined with Endoscopic Hemostasis Surgery on Serum Gastrin,PGE2 and BAR Levels in Patients with Gastrointestinal Bleeding

Abstract：Objective:If gastrointestinal bleeding is not treated in a timely manner,it will directly endanger the health and safety of patients.To propose the use of omeprazole combined with endoscopic hemostasis surgery to improve its hemostatic effect,reduce its inflammatory response,and improve its gastrointestinal function.Method:80 patients with gastrointestinal bleeding from January to December 2024.Based on the difference in admission time,all participants were evenly divided into two groups:40 patients in the control group treated with endoscopic hemostasis surgery,and 40 patients in the observation group and treated with a combination of endoscopic hemostasis surgery and omeprazole.The hemostatic effect,inflammation indicators before and after treatment,gastrointestinal function indicators,and incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups were compared.Result:Compared with the control group,the observation group had relatively less evaluation of blood transfusion volume and shorter evaluation of hemostasis time and hospitalization time(P<0.05).After treatment,compared with the control group,the observation group showed lower levels(P<0.05)in the evaluation of interleukin-6(IL-6),procalcitonin(PCT),C-reactive protein(CRP),and prostaglandin E2(PGE2)levels.Compared with the control group,the observation group showed lower levels of serum gastrin(GAS),and higher levels of gastric mucosal blood flow(BAR),motilin(MTL),and somatostatin(SS)(P<0.05).After comparing the incidence of adverse reactions between the control group and the observation group,no significant difference was found(P>0.05).Conclusion:For patients with gastrointestinal bleeding,the combination of endoscopic hemostasis surgery and omeprazole treatment can achieve ideal therapeutic effects.It can not only effectively reduce their blood transfusion volume,shorten their hemostasis time and hospital stay,but also alleviate their inflammatory reactions,improve their gastrointestinal function,and have good safety.
