Abstract:Objective:To investigate the prophylactic effect of the application of a plantar pump after femoral artery puncture intervention on lower extremity deep vein thrombosis(DVT)and its hemodynamic impact.Method:196 patients who underwent femoral artery puncture intervention in the Second Affiliated Hospital of Shandong First Medical University from January 2020 to January 2025 were selected as the study subjects, and were randomly divided into observation group(n=98)and control group(n=98).The observation group used the plantar pump to promote blood circulation in the lower limbs after surgery, while the control group did not carry out this intervention. The clinical effect of the plantar pump was analyzed by comparing the incidence of postoperative DVT,hemodynamic changes, and patient comfort between the two groups.Result:In the experimental group, the incidence of lower limb venous thrombosis was significantly less than that in the control group after undergoing surgery, and this difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).In the control group, two cases developed lower limb oedema, and three cases felt discomfort after standing activities.Prior to clinical intervention, there was no significant difference between the two groups in terms of haemorheological parameters and coagulation function(P>0.05).On the first day after the intervention treatment, the partial thromboplastin time and prothrombin time of the two groups of patients did not show any significant changes, and there was no statistically significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05).In the observation group, platelet counts decreased, fibrinogen decreased, and plasma viscosity levels showed a downward trend, and this difference reached statistical significance when compared with the control samples(P<0.05).The concentration of D-dimer generally increased after the operation, but in the patients in the observation group, this increase was lower than that in the control group, and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).The lower limb venous blood flow velocity in the observation group was significantly higher compared to the control group, and this difference was also statistically significant(P<0.05).Compared with the control sample, these indicators in the observation group showed significant improvement, and the satisfaction of the observation group increased, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:The plantar pump as an adjunctive therapy is effective in preventing lower extremity DVT after femoral artery puncture interventions.
