Abstract:Objective:To investigate the effects of ultrasound-guided dual nerve block technology on analgesia, motor function preservation, and postoperative recovery in ankle surgery patients.Method:A total of 80 patients undergoing ankle surgery at Xinhui District Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Jiangmen City,Guangdong Province from April to November 2024 were selected as subjects. The study was divided into experimental and control groups using equalized sequential matching.Equalized sequential matching was applied, with 40 cases in the control group receiving combined spinal-epidural anesthesia and 40 cases in the experimental group receiving ultrasound-guided popliteal popliteal nerve block combined with obturator block. The effectiveness of the control anesthesia protocol during surgical treatment was evaluated.Result:Analysis of heart rate, systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure, and oxygen saturation levels showed no significant differences across time periods.Systolic and diastolic blood pressure remained unchanged before anesthesia initiation and at the end of surgery. However, the experimental group exhibited higher blood pressure at the start of surgery and 30 minutes post-surgery compared to the control group, with statistically significant difference(P<0.05).No significant difference was observed at 1 h postoperative, but statistically significant differences(P<0.05)were found at 12 h and 24 h postoperative, indicating better analgesia outcomes. The experimental group also demonstrated superior nerve block efficacy compared to the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:During ankle surgery, implementing ultrasound-guided popliteal popliteal nerve block combined with obturator block ensures reliable anesthesia blockade, maintains stable circulatory status, and delivers high-quality analgesia.
