Effect of Fenelidone for Diabetic Nephropathy Combined with Heart Failure on Patients

Abstract：Objective:To investigate the effect of fenelidone for diabetic nephropathy combined with heart failure on patients.Method:107 patients with diabetic nephropathy combined with chronic heart failure admitted to Putian Ninety-five Hospital from July 2022 to December 2024 were selected as the study subjects,and were randomly divided into 53 cases in the observation group and 54 cases in the control group using the lottery method.The control group was treated with metformin hydrochloride tablets with valsartan capsules,and the observation group was treated with combined fenetylline on the basis of the control group for 2 months.The efficacy,cardiac enzymes and urine microalbumin,and quality of life of the two groups were compared,and the incidence of adverse reactions was counted.Result:After treatment,the total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,the indicators of cardiac enzymes and 24-h urinary microalbumin excretion rate decreased significantly in both groups,and compared with the control group,troponin I(cTnI),N-terminal B-type natriuretic peptide precursor(NT-proBNP),free fatty acid(FFA),and 24-h urinary microalbumin excretion rate in the observation group were lower,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The scores of all dimensions of quality of life in both groups increased after treatment compared with those before treatment,and compared with the control group,the observation group had higher scores in the physical domain,emotional domain,and other domains,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups was not statistically significant(P>0.05).Conclusion:The adjuvant treatment of diabetic nephropathy combined with chronic heart failure can effectively improve the cardiac enzymes,urinary microalbumin excretion rate,and play a protective role in the recovery of cardiac and renal function,with good therapeutic effects and few adverse reactions,and high safety.
