Effect of Ultrasound-guided Minimally Invasive Breast Vacuum Mammotome Resection on Patients with Benign Breast Mass
HE Dan
Abstract:Objective:To analyze the application of ultrasound-guided minimally invasive vacuum Mammotome resection in patients with benign breast mass.Method:80 patients with benign breast mass were selected from December 2022 to December 2024.According to the surgical method, they were divided into traditional group(traditional open surgery,40 cases)and minimally invasive group(ultrasound-guided minimally invasive vacuum Mammotome resection,40 cases).Surgery-related indicators, postoperative pain(VAS score),surgical scar(VSS score),postoperative complications, and surgical satisfaction(BREAST-Q score)were compared between the two groups.Result:Compared with the traditional group, the minimally invasive group had lower operation time, intraoperative blood loss and hospital days(P<0.05).The minimally invasive group achieved lower postoperative 24 h and 48 h VAS scores(P<0.05).The minimally invasive group expressed lower postoperative 1 month and 3-month VSS scores(P<0.05).The comparisons of postoperative complications in both groups showed no statistical difference(P>0.05).Compared with the traditional group, the minimally invasive group had a higher BREAST-Q score at 3 months after surgery(P<0.05).Conclusion:Ultrasound-guided minimally invasive vacuum Mammotome resection for benign breast mass has smaller trauma, light postoperative pain, mild degree of surgical scar, high satisfaction with breast, and small surgical complications.
