Abstract:Objective:To investigate the effect of single intravenous injection of esmketamine before operation on postoperative patients undergoing laparoscopic radical resection of colorectal cancer.Method:According to the random number table method,86 patients who were treated by laparoscopic radical resection of colorectal cancer in the First Affiliated Hospital of Bengbu Medical University from January 2023 to January 2024 were divided into two groups. Before operation,43 patients in Group B were given intravenous injection of 5 mL of normal saline, and 43 patients in Group A were given intravenous injection of esmketamine. The general situation of operation, the level of inflammatory factors, the level of Superoxide Dismutase(SOD),the degree of fatigue, the incidence of Postoperative Fatigue Syndrome(POFS)and the incidence of complications were compared between group A and group B.Result:At T1,T2 and T3,the levels of Interleukin-6(IL-6)and Tumor Necrosis Factor-α(TNF-α)in both groups were higher than those in T0,but in group A they were lower than those in group B.At T1,T2 and T3,the SOD levels in both groups were lower than those in T0,but the SOD levels in group A were higher than those in group B.3rd,5th and 7th day after operation, the Christensen fatigue score and 10-item Intensive Care Fatigue Scale Score(ICFS-10)score of the two groups were higher than those of the 1st day before operation, but those of group A were lower than those of group B.7 days after operation, the incidence of fatigue syndrome in group A was significantly lower than group B(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of choking cough, delirium and agitation, nausea and vomiting, diplopia and delayed recovery between group A and group B after extubation(P>0.05).Conclusion:Single intravenous injection of Esketamine before operation can reduce the level of inflammatory factors and SOD concentration after laparoscopic radical resection of colorectal cancer, reduce the degree of postoperative fatigue, and reduce the incidence of long-term fatigue syndrome 7 days after operation, without affecting the general situation of operation and the incidence of complications.
