Abstract:Objective:To investigate the efficacy of pelvic floor magnetic stimulation combined with pelvic floor muscle training in postpartum stress incontinence.Method:90 cases of postpartum stress urinary incontinence(PSUI)patients who met the inclusion criteria and were admitted to the No.910 Hospital of Chinese People's Liberation Army Joint Command and Security Forces(PLA JCSSF)from March 2022 to October 2024 were selected and randomly divided into the pelvic floor muscle training(PFMT)group, the pelvic floor magnetic stimulation(PFMS)group, and the PFMT combined with PFMS(PFMT+PFMS)group according to the computer, with 30 cases in each group. The three groups were treated with PFMT,PFMS,and PFMT combined with PFMS on the basis of lifestyle guidance 5 times a week for 8 weeks.Pelvic floor muscle strength, urine leakage, quality of life and and psychological status of the patients were assessed using the Modified Oxford Muscle Strength Classification(MOS),the 1-h urinary pad test, the International Continence Advisory Committee Urinary Incontinence Questionnaire Short Form(I-QOL),and the Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale(EPDS)before and after the treatments, respectively.Result:Before treatment, the MOS scores, urine leakage, quality of life scores and EPDS scores of the three groups were compared, and the differences were not statistically significant(P>0.05).After treatment, the MOS score and quality of life score of the three groups improved, and the urine leakage and EPDS score decreased, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The MOS score, urine leakage, quality of life score, and EPDS score of the PFMT+PFMS group were better than that of the PFMT group and the PFMS group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in the comparison of MOS scores, urine leakage, quality of life scores and EPDS scores between the PFMT and PFMS groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:Both pelvic floor muscle training and pelvic floor magnetic stimulation can effectively improve the pelvic floor muscle strength and urine leakage of PSUI patients, alleviate the depression of PSUI patients, and thus improve their quality of life, and the combination of the two is more effective.
