Abstract:Objective:To investigate the efficacy of the self-proposed formula for activating blood circulation and removing blood stasis to prepare traditional Chinese medicine hot package in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD).Method:205 cases of COPD patients admitted to Bijie City Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from June 2023 to June 2024 were assigned to control group(n=103)and observation group(n=102)with random numerical table. The control group was treated routinely, and the observation group was treated with the self-proposed formula for activating blood circulation and removing blood stasis by preparing traditional Chinese medicine hot package. The Chinese medicine symptom scores, lung function indexes, blood gas analysis indexes and adverse reactions of the two groups were compared.Result:The observation group had lower scores of chest expansion, distension like congestion, wheezing and coughing up,and dim complexion and higher lung function indexes than the control group after treatment, the observation group expressed higher PaO2 and lower PaCO2 than the control group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).The comparison of the incidence of adverse reactions in both groups showed no statistical difference(P>0.05).Conclusion:Self-proposed formula for activating blood circulation and removing blood stasis to prepare traditional Chinese medicine hot package can enhance the efficacy of COPD patients, improve pulmonary ventilation and gas exchange function, correct the abnormalities of blood gas analysis indexes, and promote the disappearance of disease symptoms, which is safe and reliable.
