Abstract:Objective:To observe the efficacy of tigecycline combined with cefoperazone sulbactam in the treatment of severe pneumonia caused by pan resistant Acinetobacter baumannii(PDR-AB).Method:Using a random number table method,76 patients diagnosed with PDR-AB induced severe pneumonia from July 2023 to October 2024 were divided into two groups. The control group of 38 cases was treated with cefoperazone sulbactam, while the study group of 38 cases was treated with tigecycline in addition. The clinical efficacy, inflammatory factors, bacterial clearance rate, and adverse reactions were compared between two groups.Result:The total effective rate and bacterial clearance rate of the two groups were compared, and the study group had higher rates, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).After treatment, the levels of CRP,WBC,and PCT in the study group significantly decreased and were lower than those in the control group, with statistical significance(P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:In the treatment of severe pneumonia caused by PDR-AB,the addition of tigecycline to cefoperazone sulbactam has better efficacy and bacterial clearance rate, can significantly improve the inflammatory status of patients, and has better safety.
