Abstract:Objective:To observe the effect of fat soluble vitamins as adjuvant therapy for children with mycoplasma pneumonia.Method:From February 2022 to April 2024,120 children with Mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia from Xiamen Fifth Hospital were selected as the research subjects. They were randomly divided into an experimental group and a control group using a random number table method, with 60 cases in each group. The control group received conventional treatment, while the experimental group received lipid soluble vitamin adjuvant therapy in addition to the control group. The lung function[forced vital capacity(FVC),forced expiratory volume in one second(FEV1),peak expiratory flow rate(PEF)],serum inflammatory factors[interleukin-6(IL-6),IL-10,tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)],clinical indicators(wheezing, pulmonary rales, fever reduction, cough disappearance)of the two groups were compared before and after treatment.Time and length of hospital stay.Result:After treatment,FVC,FEV1,and PEF increased in both groups of patients, while IL-6,IL-10,and TNF-α decreased. The study group had higher FVC,FEV1,and PEF,and lower IL-6,IL-10,and TNF-α,with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).The recovery time of the study group patients was shorter than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Lipid soluble vitamins as adjuvant therapy can significantly improve lung function, reduce serum inflammatory cytokine levels, and shorten the relief time and hospitalization time of clinical symptoms in children with mycoplasma pneumonia.
