Abstract:Objective:To explore the influence of all-round nursing based on the theory of symptom dynamic model on patients after colon cancer surgery.Method:A total of 102 colon cancer patients who underwent colon cancer surgery at Suzhou Municipal Hospital from January 2021 to January 2024 were selected as the research subjects. They were grouped by the ball-touching method, with odd numbers as the control group(n=51)and even numbers as the observation group(n=51).The control group was given conventional nursing intervention, while the observation group was given all-round nursing intervention based on the symptom dynamic model theory. The gastrointestinal functions, psychological resilience[Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale(CD-RISC)],coping styles[Medical Coping Modes Questionnaire(MCMQ)],self-identity[Self-Identity Scale(SIS)]and self-efficacy[General Self-Efficacy Scale(GSES)]before and after the intervention were compared between the two groups.Result:After the intervention, the time of first meal, the time of first getting out of bed,the time of anal exhaust, and the length of hospital stay in the observation group were all shorter than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The scores of dimensions such as toughness, optimism and strength in the CD-RISC of the observation group were higher than those of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The scores of the confrontation dimension in MCMQ of the observation group were higher than those of the control group, while the scores of the avoidance and submission dimensions were lower than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The SIS score and GSES score of the observation group were higher than those of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Comprehensive nursing based on the symptom dynamic model theory can significantly improve the recovery of gastrointestinal function in patients after colon cancer surgery, shorten the length of hospital stay, and effectively enhance the psychological resilience,self-identity and self-efficacy of patients, which is conducive to promoting the overall rehabilitation and mental health of patients.
