Abstract:Objective:To explore the effect of posterior cervical Hybrid technology in the treatment of degenerative cervical spinal stenosis.Method:A total of 84 patients with degenerative cervical spinal stenosis who underwent surgical treatment at Maoming People's Hospital from March 2021 to July 2023 were selected as the research subjects.According to different surgical methods, they were divided into the total laminectomy group(25 cases),the Hybrid group(30 cases),and the laminoplasty group(29 cases). The total laminectomy group was treated with total laminectomy, the Hybrid group was treated with posterior cervical Hybrid technique, and the laminoplasty group was treated with laminoplasty. The cross-sectional area of the spinal canal before the operation and one year after the operation, the occurrence of C5 nerve root palsy one year after the operation, the Visual Analogue Scale(VAS)score and the Japanese Orthopaedic Association(JOA)score before the operation and one year after the operation, the range of motion of the cervical joint and the cervical curvature index before the operation and one year after the operation were compared among the three groups.Result:One year after the operation, the cross-sectional area of the spinal canal in the Hybrid group was higher than that in the total laminectomy group and the laminoplasty group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).One year after the operation, there was no statistically significant difference in the proportion of C5 nerve root palsy among the three groups(P>0.05).One year after the operation, the JOA score of the Hybrid group was higher than that of the total laminectomy group and the laminoplasty group, and the VAS score was the lowest. The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).One year after the operation, the joint range of motion and cervical curvature index in the Hybrid group were both higher than those in the total laminectomy group and the laminoplasty group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:The posterior cervical Hybrid technique for the treatment of patients with degenerative cervical spinal stenosis has the lowest pain sensation, has the least impact on the range of joint motion after surgery, and does not increase the postoperative safety risk.
