Abstract:Objective:To explore the changes in inflammatory factor levels in patients with sepsis and their influence on the immune function of patients.Method:A total of 86 patients with sepsis admitted to the emergency Department of People's Hospital of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region from May 2022 to May 2024 were selected as the observation group and were treated with Xuebijing Injection immediately after admission.Another 86 normal adults who underwent physical examinations during the same period were selected as the control group. The inflammatory factors and immune function levels of the two groups were detected by flow cytometry. The relationship between the two was analyzed using Pearson correlation.Result:The results of flow cytometry showed that the levels of inflammatory factors interleukin-6(IL-6)and tumor necrosis factor α(TNF-α)in the observation group before and after treatment were higher than those in the normal control group. Moreover, after treatment, the levels of inflammatory factors IL-6 and TNF-α in the observation group decreased significantly compared with those before treatment, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).In the immune function indicators of the observation group,CD4+was significantly higher than that of the normal control group, while CD8+was significantly lower than that of the normal control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The results of Pearson correlation analysis showed that IL-6 and TNF-α were positively correlated with CD4+(r=0.569,0.555,P<0.05),while IL-6 and TNF-α were negatively correlated with CD8+(r=-0.593,-0.552,P<0.05).Conclusion:The changes in inflammatory factor levels in patients with sepsis are correlated with immune function, that is,the two will influence each other and eventually aggravate the condition. Therefore,in the treatment process,in addition to conventional anti-inflammatory and anti-infection measures,it is also necessary to regulate the immune function of patients.
