Abstract:Objective:To study and analyze the effects of negative pressure closed drainage(VSD)and perfusion irrigation on patients with lower limb bone infection and inflammation indexes.Method:60 patients with lower limb bone infection admitted to the hospital from June 2020 to June 2024 were studied. They were randomly divided into drainage group(n=30)and irrigation group(n=30)by envelope method. The drainage group was treated with VSD,and the irrigation group was treated with conventional lavage. The clinical efficacy, rehabilitation process, inflammatory factor levels and complications were compared between the two groups.Result:The total effective rate of drainage group was higher than that of irrigation group(P<0.05).The infection control time, wound healing time, antibiotic use days and hospitalization days in the drainage group were shorter than those in the irrigation group. The frequency of dressing change was less than that of washing group(P<0.05).After treatment, the serum interleukin-6(IL-6),interleukin-8(IL-8),tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)and white blood cell count(WBC)in both groups were lower than before treatment, and the drainage group was lower than the irrigation group(P<0.05).The total incidence of drainage group was lower than that of irrigation group(P<0.05).Conclusion:VSD is better than perfusion irrigation in the treatment of lower limb bone infection, and can improve the level of inflammatory indicators and reduce the risk of complications.
