Abstract:Objective:To explore the application effects of active hypothermia prevention combined with inhalation aromatherapy on patients undergoing hip arthroplasty.Method:A total of 86 patients undergoing hip arthroplasty at Hai'an City Hospital from January 2023 to November 2024 were selected and randomly divided into an observation group(n=43)and a control group(n=43).The control group received standard surgical room care, while the observation group was additionally given active hypothermia prevention and inhalation aromatherapy.Comparisons were made between the two groups regarding physiological stress indicators, anxiety and depression levels(SAS and SDS scores),intraoperative temperature stability, recovery and extubation times, comfort levels, and incidence of complications.Result:After the intervention, the observation group showed significantly better physiological stress indicators, intraoperative temperature stability,SAS and SDS scores, and recovery and extubation times compared to the control group.Furthermore, the observation group reported higher comfort levels and a lower incidence of complications, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).Conclusion:Active hypothermia prevention combined with inhalation aromatherapy can effectively reduce physiological and psychological stress in patients undergoing hip arthroplasty, maintain stable body temperature, promote postoperative recovery, decrease the incidence of complications, and enhance surgical comfort.
