Abstract:Objective:To investigate the effect of minimally invasive internal fixation surgery in the patients with thoracolumbar fracture and influence for stability.Method:98 patients with thoracolumbar fracture from October 2023 to October 2024 were divided into two groups by random number table, with 49 patients in each group. The control group were treated with traditional open invasive internal fixation surgery of pedicle screws, and the observation group were treated with minimally invasive internal fixation surgery of pedicle screws. Then the total excellent and good rates, operation indexes(incision length, intraoperative blood loss, operative time and postoperative hospitalization time),waist and lower limbs pain(VAS score),functional state of waist and back(ODI score)and stability indexes(posterior Cobb angle, spinal canal occupancy rate and anterior vertebral compression rate)before and after the operation of two groups were compared.Result:The total excellent and good rates of two groups were compared, the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).The incision length of observation group was significantly shorter than that of control group, the intraoperative blood loss was significantly less than that of control group, the operative time and postoperative hospitalization time were significantly shorter than those of control group(P<0.05).The waist and lower limbs scores of two groups before the operation were compared, the differences were not statistically significant(P>0.05).The waist and lower limbs scores of observation group at 1st week and 3rd month after the operation were significantly lower than those of control group(P<0.05).The stability indexes of two groups before and after the operation were compared, and the differences were not statistically significant(P>0.05).Conclusion:The effect of minimally invasive internal fixation surgery in the patients with thoracolumbar fracture are not significantly different from those of traditional open surgery. Its operation indexes are relatively better, and can effectively control the postoperative pain.
