Abstract:Objective:To explore the clinical effect of Fu's subcutaneous needling combined with high-frequency repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation(rTMS)in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis(KOA).Method:90 patients with KOA in the hospital from January 2023 to June 2024 were collected and randomly divided into the rTMS group:the Fu's subcutaneous needling group and the combined group, with 30 cases in each gorup by the random number table. The rTMS and Fu's subcutaneous needling groups received rTMS alone and Fu's subcutaneous needling, respectively, and the combined group received both rTMS and Fu's subcutaneous needling for a total of 4 weeks.Visual Analog Scale(VAS),Osteoarthritis Index(WOMAC),Lower Extremity Joint Function Score(Lysholm),6-minute walk test(6MWT),Tumor Necrosis Factor-α(TNF-α),Interleukin 1(IL-1)and Interleukin 6(IL-6)were assessed before and after the intervention.Result:VAS scores,WOMAC scores,TNF-α levels, and IL-1 levels were lower, and Lysholm scores were higher in the three post-intervention groups compared with pre-intervention,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Compared with the post-intervention rTMS group,Lysholm scores and 6MWT were higher and TNF-α,IL-1 and IL-6 levels were lower in the Fu's subcutaneous needling and combined group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Compared with the post-intervention Fu's subcutaneous needling group, the combined group had lower VAS scores,WOMAC scores,TNF-α,IL-1 and IL-6 levels and higher Lysholm scores, and 6MWT,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Fu's subcutaneous needling combined with high-frequency rTMS can significantly reduce knee pain, improve joint function, enhance walking ability, and inhibit inflammatory response in patients with KOA.It can be widely used in clinical practice.
