Abstract:Objective:To observe the therapeutic effect of holmium laser lithotripsy under ureteroscopy on patients with kidney stones and its impact on renal function and inflammatory factors.Method:A total of 100 patients with kidney stones treated in our hospital from February 2023 to June 2024 were randomly divided into a study group(n=50,underwent holmium laser lithotripsy under ureteroscopy)and a control group(n=50,underwent percutaneous nephrolithotomy). The clinical efficacy and safety, renal function before and after surgery, and levels of inflammatory factors were compared between the two groups.Result:There was no significant difference in the one-time stone clearance rate between the study group and the control group(P>0.05).The incidence of complications in the study group was lower than that in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).On postoperative day 1,serum creatinine(SCr),neutrophil gelatinase associated lipocalin(NGAL),high-sensitivity C-reactive protein(hs-CRP),and tumor necrosis factor alpha(TNF-α)were increased in both groups, the increase in the study group was lower than that in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Holmium laser lithotripsy under ureteroscopy can achieve similar stone removal effects as percutaneous nephrolithotomy in the treatment of kidney stones, and has more advantages in reducing postoperative complications, alleviating inflammation and renal function burden caused by surgical trauma.
