Abstract:Objective:To explore the effects of sufentanil combined with propofol on hemodynamics and anesthetic effects in elderly patients undergoing hip fracture surgery.Method:Eighty elderly patients undergoing hip fracture surgery who were admitted to Guanlin Hospital in Yixing City,Jiangsu Province from January 2021 to January 2024 were selected as the research subjects. They were divided into the observation group and the control group according to the random number table method, with 40 cases in each group. The control group was anesthetized with propofol, while the observation group was anesthetized with sufentanil on the basis of the control group. The postoperative analgesic effect, recovery, hemodynamics, anesthetic effect and occurrence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Result:The Visual Analogue Scale(VAS)scores of the observation group at 4,8,24,48 and 96 h after the operation were lower than those of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After the surgery, the scores of the Quality of Recovery-40(QOR-40)decreased and the scores of the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI)increased. However, the QOR-40 score of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the PSQI score was lower than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The heart rate(HR),mean arterial pressure(MAP),central venous pressure(CVP),and blood oxygen saturation(SpO2)at T1,T2,and T3 in both groups decreased compared with those at T0,and the levels in the observation group were all lower than those in the control group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in the good rate of anesthesia effect between the two groups(P>0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in the incidences of bradycardia, hypotension and nausea between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:The application of sufentanil combined with propofol for surgical anesthesia in elderly patients undergoing hip fracture surgery can reduce postoperative pain, promote recovery, improve sleep, have good anesthetic effects and high safety. However, compared with the use of propofol alone,it will further reduce hemodynamic indicators.
