Abstract:Objective:To observe the combined application effect of irbesartan hydrochlorothiazide and statins preparations in the clinical treatment of essential hypertension.Method:According to the random envelope method,80 patients with essential hypertension admitted to the First People's Hospital of Bijie City from August 2021 to January 2024 were grouped. On the basis of conventional treatment, the control group(45 cases)was treated with statin preparations, and the study group(35 cases)was combined with irbesartan hydrochlorothiazide. The application effects of the two groups were compared.Result:The total effective rate of treatment in the study group was 91.43%,which was higher than 75.56%in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Meanwhile,the levels of high-density lipoprotein(HDL-C)and nitric oxide(NO)in the study group were higher than those in the control group. Moreover, the levels of systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure, heart rate, serum creatinine(SCR),24-hour total urine protein(TUP),low-density lipoprotein(LDL-C),triglycerides(TG),total cholesterol(TC),and homocysteine(Hcy)were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in the comparison of the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:In the clinical treatment of essential hypertension, the combined treatment of irbesartan hydrochlorothiazide and statins can effectively regulate the blood lipid and blood pressure levels of patients, alleviate vascular endothelial function injury, improve renal function performance, and has high therapeutic safety and practicability.
