Effect of Banxia Baizhu Tianma Decoction on Patients with Angina Pectoris of Coronary Heart Disease

Abstract：Objective:To explore the curative effect of Banxia Baizhu Tianma Decoction in patients with angina pectoris of coronary heart disease.Method:A total of 100 patients with angina pectoris of coronary heart disease admitted to Nantong Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine were enrolled and randomly divided into control group(routine western medicine)and observation group(Banxia Baizhu Tianma Decoction on basis of control group)from August 2022 and April 2024,with 50 cases in each group.All patients were treated for 2 months.The response rate of treatment,cardiac function[left ventricular end-systolic diameter(LVESD),left ventricular end-diastolic diameter(LVEDD),left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF)],hemorheologyindexes(plasma viscosity,equation K value of erythrocyte sedimentation rate,platelet aggregation rate)and incidence of adverse events in the two groups were compared.Result:After treatment,effective rate of treatment in the observation group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).LVESD and LVEDD were lower(P<0.05),while LVEF was higher in observation group(P<0.05).The plasma viscosity,equation K value of erythrocyte sedimentation rate and platelet aggregation rate were lower in observation group than control group(P<0.05).The difference in incidence of adverse reactions between observation group and control group was not statistically significant(P>0.05).Conclusion:Banxia Baizhu Tianma Decoction can significantly improve cardiac function and hemorheology indexes in patients with angina pectoris of coronary heart disease,which will not significantly increase the incidence of adverse reactions,with good safety.
