Effect of Insulin Combined with Medical Nutrition Therapy on Gestational Diabetes Mellitus
HE Lilian
Abstract:Objective:To investigate the effect of insulin combined with medical nutrition therapy on patients with gestational diabetes.Method:A total of 94 patients with gestational diabetes who received treatment in the hospital from March 2022 to March 2024 were selected as research samples and divided into groups according to different treatment intervention methods.Patients in the control group(47 cases)received insulin aspartate treatment, and patients in the observation group(47 cases)received medical nutrition therapy on the basis of insulin aspartate treatment.Blood glucose levels, nutritional indexes and serum factors before and after treatment were compared between the two groups, and adverse pregnancy outcomes of the two groups were recorded.Result:After treatment, the observation group blood glucose indexes were lower than control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the observation group indexes of serum total protein and serum albumin were higher than control group(P<0.05).After treatment, fasting insulin and cholesterol of the observation group were lower than control group, and the function index of islet β cell was higher than control group(P<0.05).Overall incidence of adverse pregnancy outcomes of the observation group was lower than the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:The combination of insulin and medical nutrition therapy is effective in gestational diabetes patients, which can effectively reduce the blood sugar level of patients, improve nutritional indexes, regulate the islet function and cholesterol level, and reduce the risk of adverse pregnancy outcomes.
