Effect of Modified Maziren Decoction Combined with Chinese Medicine Fumigation and Washing in the Treatment of Postoperative Patients with High Complex Anal Fistula

Abstract：Objective:To investigate the effect of Modified Maziren Decoction combined with Chinese medicine fumigation and washing on postoperative patients with high complex anal fistula.Method:From January 2023 to March 2024,a total of 80 patients with high complex anal fistula who treated in the First Affiliated Hospital of Sanming City,Fujian Medical University were selected,and they were divided into the routine group(40 cases)and the study group(40 cases)according to random number table method.The routine group was treated with western medicine,and the study group was treated with Modified Maziren Decoction combined with Chinese medicine fumigation and washing on the basis of the routine group,two groups were treated for 14 d.The wound recovery,treatment effect,anal function,anorectal motility and growth factor changes were compared between two groups.Result:After treatment,the scores of wound pain,wound exudation,wound edema,traditional Chinese medicine symptoms scores and Wexner scale(Wexner)scores of anal incontinence in two groups were lower than those before treatment,and those in the study group were lower than those in the routine group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05);the wound healing time of the study group was shorter than that of the routine group,and the total effective rate of treatment was higher than that of the routine group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05);after treatment,the maximum systolic pressure of anal canal,resting pressure of anal canal,the longest contraction time of anal canal and resting pressure of rectum in two groups were lower than those before treatment,but those in the study group were higher than those in the routine group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05);after treatment,the levels of epidermal growth factor(EGF),vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF),transforming growth factor-β1(TGF-β1)and basic fibroblast growth factor(bFGF)in two groups were higher than those before treatment,and those in the study group were higher than those in the routine group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Modified Maziren Decoction combined with Chinese medicine fumigation and washing can promote wound recovery and anorectal motility recovery,improve anal function and improve growth factor level in postoperative patients with high complex anal fistula.
