Effect of Anshen Dingzhi Pills Combined with Estazolam in the Treatment of Perimenopausal Insomnia

Abstract：Objective:To investigate the effect and the changes of serum sex hormone and neurotransmitter levels of Anshen Dingzhi Pills combined with Estazolam in the treatment of patients with perimenopausal insomnia(PI).Method:A total of 100 patients with PI who treated in the Second People's Hospital of Macheng City from June 2023 to June 2024 were prospectively selected,and they were randomly divided into the control group and the observation group,with 50 cases in each group.The control group was treated with Estazolam,and the observation group was treated with Anshen Dingzhi Pills combined with Estazolam.The sleep quality,therapeutic effect,serum sex hormones,neurotransmitters and adverse reactions were compared between two groups.Result:After treatment,the Pittsburgh sleep quality index(PSQI)scores,follicle stimulating hormone(FSH),luteinizing hormone(LH)and noradrenaline(NE)in two groups decreased,and those in the observation group were lower,the levels of estradiol(E2),5-hydroxyindoleacetic acid(5-HIAA)and 5-hydroxytryptamine(5-HT)in two groups increased,and those in the observation group were higher,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05);there were no significant difference in the total effective rate and the incidence of adverse reactions between two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:Anshen Dingzhi Pills combined with Esazolam in the treatment of patients with PI can regulate the levels of serum sex hormones and neurotransmitters,and improve insomnia.
