Abstract:Objective:To explore the value of carcinoembryonic antigen(CEA),carbohydrate antigen 125(CA125)in pleural and peritoneal fluid combined with pathological cytology detection in the diagnosis of lung cancer.Method:From September 2022 to September 2023,29 pleural and peritoneal fluid specimens from lung cancer in the 910th Hospital of the Chinese People's Liberation Army Joint Logistics Support Force were collected as the observation group, and 73 pleural and peritoneal fluid specimens from patients with pleural effusion and ascites but finally diagnosed with benign lung lesions were collected as the control group, the levels of CEA and CA125 in pleural and peritoneal fluid were detected by chemiluminescence microparticle immunoassay;liquid based cytology examination was performed on pleural fluid specimens, and cell wax blocks were obtained from suspected tumor samples for immunohistochemical staining and pathological screening;the diagnostic efficacy of CEA,CA125 in pleural and peritoneal fluid combined with pathological cytology detection for lung cancer were analyzed.Result:The levels of CEA and CA125 in pleural and peritoneal fluid in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05);the results of immunohistochemical detection of cell wax block showed that the positive rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);the levels of CEA,CA125 in pleural and peritoneal fluid and pathological cytology detection were more effective in the diagnosis of lung cancer, and the combined detection had the highest predictive efficiency, when the Youden index was 0.623,the area under the curve(AUC)was 0.894,and the sensitivity and specificity in the diagnosis of lung cancer were 96.55%and 65.75%.Conclusion:CEA,CA125 in pleural and peritoneal fluid combined with pathological cytology detection has a high diagnostic efficacy for lung cancer, and both are higher than any single detection, which has positive guiding significance for the diagnosis of lung cancer.
